The Poznan Hussars sports club signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Disorder Center in Poznan.
The main goal of the signed deal between the Poznan Hussars and the Regional Blood Center is to propagate the cause behind blood donation. The representatives of both organizations, Krzysztof Olbromski MD; director of the center, and Jędrzej Bagiński and Marek Biesiada; Poznan Hussars board members, signed an agreement of cooperation on April 7 of this year in the Blood Center’s HQ in Poznan, at ul. Marcelińskiej 44.
This document is the result of efforts and negotiations initiated by the Poznan Hussars. After many meetings both parties determined the areas of cooperation, specified the shared goals and outlined framework initiatives for the purpose of popularising the idea of blood donation, in particular within the local community. Poznan Hussars players, Krystian Komar and Sławomir Izydorek, are the ones coordinating efforts of both institutions.
Poznan Hussars players together donate blood for the needy during the “Bloody Hussar” campaign, whose next edition is planned for June of this year after ending this season of the Polish Lacrosse League (PLL).
