"Lacrosse in school" - second edition.

Poznan Hussars players were invited by Maciej Konieczny to visit the Mikołaj Kopernik Telecomunication Group of Schools.

Paweł and Krzysztof Hamrol, Szymon Kowalewski and Robert Maliński showed up in the Mikołaj Kopernik Group of Schools’ field on Przełajowa Street on 26 May. The meeting was initialized by Maciej Konieczny to whom the Hussars were recommended by teachers of formerly visited schools.

The students of the first grade of this technical high school listened enthusiastically for two hours with interest about lacrosse history, the start and results of the Polish Lacrosse League season and about rules.

After a short presentation and warm up, the youth were given an opportunity to try their luck. Twenty sticks got picked up immediately. The show was met with approval and interest. After school, a lot of students were asking about practice and the possibility to try out for the team.

We hope that our promotional campaigns will let us expand the ranks of the winged warriors, which will effectively improve the level of competition within the team.

We would like to thank the teaching staff for the possibility of conducting “small” workshops and the popularization of “the fastest game on two legs” among young people.

Keep laxing!
