Referee course in Poznan!
The Poznan Hussars Lacrosse Club organized a referee course which allowed participants to gain a certificate for a white level lacrosse official after passing an exam.
Two foreign referees came to Poznan and taught us theoretical and practical basics of being a referee. One of them was Don Blacklock - Men's Officiating Committee Chairmen. The second was Christian Geschke - Germany's Officials Coach and an Official from Berlin Lacrosse. Both of them gave their best to prepare Polish players for the exam. Classes were held at the University of Sports in Poznan.
Nineteen people showed up in the classroom at the start of the course: 3 from Warsaw, 4 from Wroclaw and 12 from Poznan.
After going through the whole theory, players along with both of the officials went to the KS Warta field to practice positioning and judgment under the pressure of the game.
